Auction game rules

Unlike Regular Bidding and a Closed Entry, in the Open Auction you see the bids of fellow candidates immediately. Until a predetermined date and time, you thus get a transparent opportunity to bid on your dream home.

The course of the process

The start of the process

The broker starts the process by creating a bid form.

After the viewing, you will receive the link to the bid form from the broker.

The Data Room

To be able to make a good offer, it is important to have all the relevant information. Most brokers therefore use our Dataroom.

Capturing your data

As a first step, you need to record all your details once. Think contact information, but also details about any reservations.

Bid directly

Then you can bid and respond to other candidates at lightning speed. You do this in predetermined steps. If you are outbid, you can make a new bid immediately!

Extension of deadline

If a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes, the deadline will be extended. In this way, everyone can respond in a timely manner, including those less proficient with a computer

Reviewing your bid

After the deadline the form is closed, bidding is no longer possible. The seller will work with the broker to assess whether to proceed to award.

Award process

The seller always retains the right of award. This means that the seller does not necessarily have to choose the candidate with the highest bid. In addition, the seller can also choose not to award the property to anyone.

Assigning the buyer

Fingers crossed, once the buyer is assigned, you get the results immediately: the property is awarded to you or not.

Finalized purchase

After the appointment, the broker will draw up the purchase agreement. The purchase is then only binding when both parties have signed the agreement.

Frequently asked questions
